Best Web Page to PDF Settings

The default options of our Web Page to PDF converter does a great job but you can also use the Advanced Settings to customize the PDF output. Here is an explanation of all the settings:

Page Size: You can select a PDF page size or choose to print the whole web page to a single-page PDF (default).
Page Orientation: Select portrait or landscape orientation when saving a web page to PDF
Margin: Select a margin for your PDF document (in pixels)
Viewport Width: Let us know the browser width from which you want us to render the web page before printing it to a PDF
Initial Delay: Specify a delay in seconds before the web page is captured to a PDF (allow all elements to properly load before capturing the web page to PDF). The default value is 3 seconds.
Automatically Hide Cookie Notices: If enabled, we will attempt to automatically hide those annoying cookie notices before converting Web page to PDF (beta feature)

What is a PDF (Portable Document Format) file?

The Portable Document Format (PDF) is a universal file format that comprises characteristics of both text documents and graphic images which makes it one of the most commonly used file types today. The reason PDF is so widely popular is that it can preserve original document formatting. PDF files always look identical on any device or operating system.

How to open a PDF file?

Most people head right to Adobe Acrobat Reader when they need to open a PDF. Adobe created the PDF standard and its program is certainly the most popular free PDF reader out there. It's completely fine to use, but I find it to be a somewhat bloated program with lots of features that you may never need or want to use.

Most web browsers, like both Chrome and Firefox, can open PDFs themselves.
